"The MOTH: The Heat is On"

Video can’t be displayed

Storylife Experiences creator and owner Lily Be embarked on her storytelling adventure in 2013, marking a significant milestone in her life. It was three years after her first captivating performance at Grown Folks Stories, where she stepped onto the microphone and discovered her passion for storytelling. Within five months of her storytelling show debut, Lily won The Moth GrandSLAM champion title. This accomplishment made her the first Latina to claim victory in the organization's two-decade-long history (at that time). Her success celebrated her exceptional talent and paved the way for diverse voices in the storytelling arena. Over the years, Lily's expertise in storytelling has garnered recognition and led her to educate and inspire individuals from various backgrounds. She has had the privilege of teaching at renowned institutions such as Second City and collaborating with colleges, universities, non-profit organizations, Google, and even the World Health Organization. As the former Education Director at a science storytelling organization, Lily developed curriculums for higher Ed and community organizations looking to integrate storytelling into their day-to-day operations and culture. Her dedication and creativity have enabled her to develop compelling content and curriculum designed to help ANYONE harness the power of storytelling in their classrooms and organizations. Without writing a word, lily has been able to develop and performed stories and one woman shows completely off-book. Her workshops and classes are perfect for public speakers and anyone looking to discover their storytelling style and voice.
