CHRIS FASCIONE
Oak Park IL 708-383-8788chrisfascione@earthlink.net https://chrisfascione.com/ BringingLiteratureToLife.com JugglingFunnyStories.com
Family Entertainer Chris Fascione sets himself apart as he acts out children’s books, promotes reading, and brings literature to life with his award-winning storytelling energy. Full of humor and imagination, Chris’ shows are participatory and high-spirited, leaving his audience to often remark following his shows, “Wow, that was fun!” Whether through physical comedy, clever improvisational verbal wordplay, or a multitude of hilarious character voices, his ability to engage, connect with, and hold captive children of ALL ages as well as their adult friends help to make him one of the most sought-after school assembly, Family Reading Night, public library and community event performers in Illinois and beyond. As the former Mill Creek, WA librarian once stated, “…the best children’s entertainer I have ever seen in my 25 years of being a children’s librarian – yes, he’s that good.” Former director and visionary of the Connecticut Storytelling Festival, Barbara Reed, wrote about Chris, “You were terrific, and provided a wonderful hilarious climax. It was exciting to me to see that you could combine your various talents as an actor, mime and comedian and still have it turn out to be unique but genuine storytelling. Your relationship to the audience was just right.”
