Storyteller/teaching artist Susan Stone shares her stories with the technical expertise of her theatre training and the intuitive wisdom of a true storyteller. From hilarious, participatory, multicultural stories for children to, authentic Jewish tales for children and adults, she has a unique understanding of her listeners’ needs.
She also has taught storytelling to teachers at National-Louis University; acting/storytelling to kids K-12, (Piven Theatre Workshop, Evanston Twn. High School). Her CDs have garnered: a Parents’ Choice Gold Award, Storytelling World Award, NAPPA Gold Awards. She has offered workshops and trainings all over the country (and in Poland), including docent training at the IL Holocaust Museum and the First Division Museum at Cantigny. Currently, to counteract the hate speech we hear in the world now, she is touring in a storytelling show called: Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story with a Muslim and a Christian Woman. https://sistersofstory.weebly.com/ Susan’s tales entertain, enlighten and illuminate the human condition.
