Will Tremont has entertained audiences across the county, around the world and on television as a magician, memory expert, escape artist and raconteur for over thirty years.
Will’s storytelling roots go back four generations to 1873 when his great-grandfather was kidnapped by gypsies in Italy, a tale Will recounts in his one man show “Sleight of Heart”. Will has also honed his craft over the last thirty-eight years by telling stories daily in his barbershop on Main Street in Wauconda, Illinois. In addition, Will writes a newspaper column for the Columbus Gazette in Columbus Junction, Iowa, a column devoted to, what else, telling stories.
Will’s stories are all original, either personal memoir or family history, laced with a large dose of humor and a little magic. And Will produces a monthly storytelling event in Wauconda, Illinois titled "In Vino Veritas" featuring some of the finest storytellers in the nation.
